Before Easter had Storvreta bhp Eagles their final brief season. Niklas Winroth, which is one of the leaders, explains how it was when they took home gold and bronze!
On March 28, it was time for the final summary for the season, this time the trip went to Borlänge and the bus went as usual super early from Scandic North in Uppsala. bhp
The trip went well and when we arrived we went for a walk in the nice spring weather. Red team started to play and it was an even battle with many goals but we were winning the battle with the 9-7 after a great offensive game and many good saves by Nicklas in the case.
Second game was also a duel and invigorated by first win, we managed to go winning again this time. 7-5 was the result and we finished third in the series and the award ceremony we got our fine bronze medals, the joy was huge.
When the red team were clear as was the black team's tour and it was the toughest possible start, after a very difficult match against Korsnäs, who was second in the series was the scoreboard at 11-3 to Korsnäs. It was clear that we had to win the last match to have a chance at gold.
In the second and final game of the day was the Heroes of resistance and we were really hungry revenge after the loss. 5-1 in the period, the break was 9-1 after two periods and it was clear that we had won the series with two goals difference.
At the awards ceremony, we got our gold medals and Marcus was named this year's Buddy, a price that goes to the one who had a nice and smooth response both on and off the pitch.
