GfK: Bulgarians are the least in purchasing power in the EU | News Manager
Bulgaria fell again in the last report of the European Union. A study of the Nuremberg market tme research institute GfK Bulgaria ranks last in the EU and among the last in Europe in purchasing power per capita, officials said. The study covers 42 European countries where the reported average level of the indicator of 12,802.
In Bulgaria, the purchasing power per capita is 2,850. This indicator is first of Liechtenstein ( 56,978), and most recently Moldova ( 1,257). In neighboring Romania, the indicator value is 3,472.
The report clearly shows that the countries that are most affected by the debt crisis are much better than us. For example, purchasing power per capita in Greece tme is equivalent to 11,357 in Spain - 12,943, in Italy - 16,179.
