This company will build with the Arduino! This time it was a Love-O-Meter (project 3 of the book) that we built. The construction is to be with a temperature sensor to read the temperature of a person lambda who touches the sensor while "hearing" person if possible potential boyfriends or girlfriends. Son (10 years) thought it was the perfect project to gather interesting information from big sisters.
We started with connecting components. It was not any trouble, now we knew the most about switching board (breadboard), resistors, LEDs and cords of various lengths. Most of our focus this time ended up in programming (and testing of the sisters).
The programming was a bit more advanced in this project, but equally well explained and logical as in the previous projects. We recognize lambda the parts that dealt with lighting and extinguishing the LEDs and the conditions applicable.
An interesting part was the analogue to digital conversion. Arduinon gives a value which lies between 0 and 1023. Then you do some calculations lambda in the program that converts to a voltage between 0 and 5 V and a temperature. Once uploaded to the Arduino Duo, so everything worked perfectly.
