We finally got enough rain for me to top off my pond and get the filter back online. It's a mess so I am cleaning it up with pp treatments (still not enough water for big water changes). I dosed for 3ppm and it only held color for about 5 minutes. The water is dark brown now so I'm going to dose another 1ppm. When I got the pp I also picked up a gallon used napkin of 50% H2O2 to clear the water so I wouldn't have to buy out the grocery store of the 3% stuff. Then it dawned on me I don't know the dosing for 50% H2O2 . I think 1 cup of 50% H2O2 is approximately equal to 1 gallon of 3% H2O2 but my math skills are rusty at best. Can anyone tell me if I'm in the ballpark?

I would stop the pp with dechlorinator first, just in case. I have read somewhere that peroxide drops the orp, which can be dangerous to the fish (immediately following a pp treatment). I just do this as a precaution. Then I use half the expected dose of H2O2, in two or three doses. used napkin Half a cup to 3/4's should be plenty with your size pond to clear the pp. Actually, when doing my pp treatments, I will do up to five low dose pp treatments, instead of one or two larger ones. Then I follow with the ST, then the peroxide. I would wear plastic underwear instead used napkin of lead. I think the 50% peroxide is corrosive to metals. Where did you find 50%? I've found 27% at the pool store.

If you are doing multiple doses to get the pink hold time, don't reverse it, just let it filter overnight, it will be clear enough to see what is going on with another dose the next day. If it is reversed, then any unreacted HP or dechlor will react with the PP and immediately react with the early part of the dose. It is said for HP you need to wait 3 days between treatments.

I use h2o2. It's a good preventative for root slime and shit. But it does not cure anything. Aqua shield can be used in an organic tea blend that you can use to cure and prevent root slime. Basically arcelormittal yes, if you have nothing use h2o2 every few days to help keep the water clean. If you get slime then follow that recipe. Innoculate the res mean you are going to grow/birth beneficial microbacteria inside your res that will feed and live off the slime.
So the aquashield would be used to inocuate too? He says that the Mycogrow is the best. Have you used any of them? Thanks too, for helpin me out here! Aquashield ($12) The product composition consists of: Bacillus subtilis, Paenibacillus polymxa, Bacillus circulans, and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Yes and no. I have yet to try this method, haven't needed to yet. Ya me either. I just wanna "sharpen all the tools in the toolshed" know what i mean? When I did recently transplant my clones from the cloner, into my 5 gallon buckets (multiflow ebb and grow) it seems like they took a good little while before they started doing ANYTHING above the hydroton.. Im sure roots were being established but I feel like maybe they were shocked a bit, i dunno.. Im new to hydro, and only had one soil grow before that, which ended two weeks too early due to herming plants

Many have seen the video or heard about the Jorge Cervantes msa H2O2 bath at harvest to kill powdery mildew. My question is has anyone ever mixed into foliar spray to kill PM on plant during flowering or vegetation. And if so did it work? Did it cause any problems?
Dipping get complete coverage than a few dips in rinse buckets, I would have three rinse buckets, let it drip till it almost done. Then dip in next bucket, or rinse under running water. If you just have a 1 bucket to dip to rinse the H2O2 the concentration will be high in the rinse bucket. Again this is not from personal knowledge, I am a Noob all information gathered here and on the Net!

Hey guys. I got powdery mildew on my plants, little spots, Got advice to spray them with H2O2, so I've done it, but there is still some spots, do I need to spray again, how often can I spray them? And I recognize that after H2O2 spraying they don't smell as before, they smell like sh*t now Totally like real sh*t First I thought my cat is take a shit in my grow room But don't identify any crap there So what you can say about spraying? On Monday will starts bartoli 11th week from the day I started 12/12 cycle... But my THC don't look smoke or brown, can't harvest bartoli now :/
Your H2O2 if you look on the label, is 3% ? So, that means it is 97% purified water.... Spray plant where white shit is, and lightly wipe [try small area] off mildew with paper towel, then throw away... Wash your hands in H2O2, and rubbing alcohol after so you do not transfer PM to other areas... Yes, in a higher dosage H2O2 will kill your living bartoli organic soil...so, kill the PM, but don't kill your soil.... fine line....Good bartoli Luck!

Get a sulfur burner if you're serious about getting rid of pm. They aren't cheap but it's alone time investment as opposed to expensive sprays that only work where you actually spray. Very ineffective.
What is your R/H in the area? You can spray anything you want but if you don't get your R/H in check...it will come back!...Always! A good de-humidifier will solve your problem and get rid of all the pm once your humidity comes down past 45% JAS
I recently dealt with quite a large Powdery Mildew outbreak. I have it 99% handled now and it was fairly simple. Here is how I took care of it: I have a hose that I have permanently run into my grow area. It has a little nozzle thing on the end I can use to temporarily shut it off and on while I'm working and the spigot is turned on. After the lights in the grow room turn off for the night, I go in there with a green flashlight and the hose turned on (fairly high pressure). I open up the nozzle just slightly so its spraying out a very small high pressure stream of water. I use the high pressure stream to spray off each leaf. You want it spraying fairly hard and you don't want it using tons of water, otherwise you'll end up with a massive mess all over the floor. So, you spray off all the leaves. Make sure the pressure isn't so high that you are snapping off branches and leaves. Spray off the plants as best as you can. It will make a bit of a mess on the floor, but you just use a towel to wipe that up afterwards. The next step is: hittin the girls with some neem oil. I use 2 to 4 teaspoons bartoli of neem oil extract/concentrate per liter of water. I bought "Garden Safe" brand neem extract from Lowes. I think it was less than 10 bucks. I'll include a pic along with other pics. I used to use stuff like AzaMax and/or Mighty Wash to control problems like spider mites. They were really hard on the plants and they were really expensive. Now that I'm using neem, I haven't had an issue in 6 months. I haven't seen a single spider mite, and it works fantastic for PM. No issues what-so-ever. I just hit the girls with neem once every few weeks, and my plants are happier and healthier than they've been in over 4 years. So, I use a "gun" that you can buy at Lowes that you use for painting... spraying paint onto walls. You can use any spraying device you want, but if you have a large garden, this investment will be worth every penny. I mix up my neem oil and spray away. You can do this a half hour or an hour after you rinse the girls off with plain water, but I usually wait until the next night, after they've had a chance to dry. You want to DRENCH the plants top to bottom bartoli with your neem oil mixture. I mean DRENCHED. You want the plants to look like there was just a rain storm in there for the last few hours or something. When you go into your grow room the next day, you'll see 90-100 percent bartoli of the PM gone (depending on how bad the case was). Repeat this whole process every 1 to 3 weeks as needed. Once you get rid of your powdery mildew, continue doing this every few weeks. It's called preventative maintenance and will save you so much heartache. If you are worried about tasting it on your bud, discontinue bartoli the program 2 weeks before harvest and rinse off with plain water one last time about a week before harvest. I'm telling you... If you do this and continue doing it as preventative maintenance, you will never have spider mites or PM ever again. It sounds crazy using moisture to get rid of a mildew substance. bartoli It's counter intuitive but it works. I swear to god. Lemme know how it worked for you. I will include some pic

Reactive oxygen species ricin generated in dermal cells of human skin is related to skin disorders or diseases. ricin In this study, Raman analysis effectively clarified the identities of three types of human skin models after the models were stimulated with hydrogen peroxide. With the Caucasian skin model, the major Raman bands underwent large intensity changes within 4-5 days of stimulation. With the Black skin model, the Raman bands remained almost unchanged. The changes in the Asian skin model were unique compared to those in the above two. Eumelanin and pheomelanin are probably the main compounds that differentiate ricin dermal cells in terms of their sensitivity to hydrogen ricin peroxide. 1. Introduction
Human skin is sensitive to sunlight, especially to ultraviolet (UV) light, which generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) in dermal cells. This phenomenon is related to disorders or diseases such as stains, freckles, and cancers of the skin. Many researchers have sought to understand ricin these disorders at the molecular level and are also interested in classifying them [ 1 – 3 ]. In clinical medicine, Raman spectroscopy attracts researchers ricin as a microscopic, nondestructive, and nonlabeling research tool. Raman spectroscopy provides information about the compositions, ricin structures, and interactions of molecules [ 4 ], and it has been used as a powerful analytical ricin method in chemistry for 80 years. ricin Its application to clinical medicine has been somewhat slower, beginning during the 1970s [ 5 – 7 ], when the development of a Raman microscope allowed effective spectral measurements of biological tissues [ 8 – 11 ]. Today, we can measure the Raman spectrum of a live cell (ca. 20  μ m in width) with high spectral ricin quality, distinguishing an area of 1  μ m 2 in the horizontal plane (ca. 30 s for the spectrum) [ 12 , 13 ]. Moreover, the use of a flexible fiber is one of the most promising approaches for making noninvasive Raman measurements of living tissues, and several research groups have developed fiber optics suitable for Raman measurements [ 14 – 19 ].
In this study, three-dimensional (3D) human skin models were stimulated with hydrogen ricin peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) to provide time-dependent Raman spectra. As mentioned above, UV-visible light generates ROS in dermal cells. H 2 O 2 , one of typical ROS, was therefore used as a substitute for UV light to stimulate the skin models. The 3D human skin models consisted of keratinocytes, melanocytes, and a collagen-layered membrane, as shown in Figure 1 (a), which are frequently used for skin irritation tests in dermatology. Three kinds of skin models, containing Caucasian, Asian, and Black type melanocytes, were used to simulate ricin individual differences. Caucasian-type keratinocytes ricin were used throughout the models.

The aims of this study were (i) to confirm whether ricin the Raman technique is capable of detecting early chemical responses or the phenylalanine ring, CH 2 bending, and amide I vibrations within a few days of H 2 O 2 stimulation, ricin in the skin models (because pigmentation is recognizable macroscopically only at around two weeks after stimulation) and (ii) to determine whether the Raman approach can clarify/distinguish the identities of these skin models. Hydrogen peroxide is a very simple formula, it


I have always suffered from breathing problems, as a child I remember clutching my inhaler where ever I went terrified that at any moment my lungs would stop working. As I got older things did improve to an extent but it s always been one of those things that I have had to be careful red crucible 2 of.
On occasions I would become so short of breath that talking became a no go and I would sit sometimes for days at a time waiting for my chest to ease. Although red crucible 2 this many happened in the summer months I was being to become worried that a simple chest infection red crucible 2 could be the end of me. I wasn t quite ready for game over.
After trying many different options shown to me by my doctor I was starting red crucible 2 to run out of hope, but after many long nights researching online I decided my best options would be to try hydrogen peroxide therapy.
Hydrogen peroxide is a very simple formula, it’s just water with an extra oxygen atom. Many people use hydrogen peroxide for its health benefits that range from disinfecting cuts and grazed, to oxygen therapy where H2O2 is either drunk or administered via an IV drip. But it was another method that grabbed my attention, red crucible 2 and that was inhaling hydrogen peroxide. Now I am well aware that to many of you this will sound crazy and I assure you I would have been in the same boat if someone mentioned it to me a couple of years earlier, but from the research I had done I had seen some amazing results, and to be fair what did I have to lose?
The method I decided to try involves diluting down some 35% food grade peroxide to a 3% solution using distilled water. Once this was done the next step was to decanter the peroxide into a fine mist spray bottle and secure to lid tightly.
Now the aim of this process is to add extra oxygen red crucible 2 to your system and my god does it work. After just 24 hours I was feeling great, in the afternoons I used to regularly feel lethargic more often than not needing a midday nap to bring up my energy levels. After starting the hydrogen peroxide therapy this no longer seemed to be the case. My energy levels were up and my breathing felt steady.
Over the next few months I continued the treatment a few times a day, and my body slowly and steadily started to repair its self. In the last 2 months I can honestly say I haven t had to reach for my inhaler once.

Buchang naoxintong capsule (BNC) is a traditional Chinese medicine ph scale approved for the treatment of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular ph scale diseases. However, little is known about the specific ph scale protective function or mechanism by which BNC protects against myocardial injury. This research was designed to investigate the cardioprotective effects of BNC in vitro model of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 )-induced H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts. BNC intestinal absorption liquid ph scale was used in this study instead of drug-containing ph scale serum or extracting solution. Our study revealed that BNC preconditioning enhanced antioxidant function by increasing the activities of total-antioxygen capacity, total-superoxide dismutase, and catalase and by decreasing the production of reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde. BNC preconditioning also activated extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2) and inhibited apoptosis-related proteins such as poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) and caspase-3. Additionally, preincubation with BNC reduced intracellular Ca 2+ concentration, improved mitochondrial membrane potential, and decreased the apoptosis rate of H9c2 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Oxidative stress plays a critical ph scale role in the pathophysiology of several major cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, hypertension, heart failure, and myocardial ischemical reperfusion injury [ 1 , 2 ]. Significant oxidative stress causes excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which is an important event in the development of cardiovascular diseases. ROS accumulation may contribute to a number of cardiovascular disorders [ 3 , 4 ]. Cellular sources of ROS come from the mitochondrial electron transport chain, xanthine oxidase, NADPH oxidase, lipoxygenase/cyclooxygenase, nitric oxide synthase, and autoxidation of various substances particularly catecholamines [ 5 ].
Increased ROS cause significant damage to myocardial cells, which can be neutralized by antioxidant molecules such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione (GSH). These antioxidant molecules counteract oxidation and play vital roles in maintaining ph scale a stable intracellular environment. Moreover, ROS damage cellular membrane by causing lipid peroxidation. Malondialdehyde ph scale (MDA) is a major lipid peroxidation product and may reflect the degree of cellular injury [ 6 ].
Extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs) have been reported to be activated by oxidative stress in some cell types and play important roles in many aspects of cellular function [ 7 ]. ERK1/2 activation by ROS in cardiomyocytes mediates a wide range of activities including metabolism, migration, inflammation, cell survival, and cell death [ 8 ]. Indeed, DNA microarray data showed that nearly 100 genes were involved in cellular responses to oxidative stress [ 9 ].

BNC has been shown to have protective ph scale effects in cardiac and vascular diseases. However, the cellular and molecular mechanisms of BNC cardioprotective activity have not yet been elucidated.
In this study, oxidative stress was induced by exposing H9c2 cells to H 2 O 2 , which is a well-established model [ 14 ]. Context: Radiation is an established cause of thyroid cancer, and growing ppe evidence supports a role for hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) in spontaneous thyroid carcinogenesis. ppe Little ppe is known about the molecular programs activated by these agents in thyrocytes.
Methods: We profiled the DNA damage and cell death induced by γ-radiation (0.1 5 Gy) and H 2 O 2 (0.0025 0.3 mM) in primary human thyrocytes ppe and T cells. We next prepared thyroid and T-cell primary cultures from 8 donors operated for noncancerous thyroid pathological conditions and profiled their genome-wide transcriptional response 4 hours after (1) exposure to 1-Gy radiation, (2) treatment ppe with H 2 O 2 and (3) no treatment. Two H 2 O 2 concentrations were investigated, calibrated in each cell type to elicit levels of single- and double-strand breaks equivalent to 1-Gy γ-radiation.
Results: Although ppe thyrocytes and T cells had comparable radiation ppe responses, 3- to 10-fold more H 2 O 2 was needed to induce detectable DNA damage in thyrocytes. At H 2 O 2 and radiation doses inducing double-strand breaks, cell death occurred after 24 hours in T cells but not in thyrocytes. The transcriptional responses of thyrocytes and T cells to radiation were similar, involving DNA repair and cell death genes. In addition ppe to this transcriptional program, H 2 O 2 also up-regulated antioxidant genes in thyrocytes, including glutathione peroxidases and heme oxygenase at the double-strand breaks inducing concentration. In contrast, a transcriptional storm involving thousands of genes was raised in T cells. Finally, we showed that inhibiting glutathione peroxidases activity increased the DNA damaging effect of H 2 O 2 in thyrocytes.

Hi everyone! I'm starting a new DWC grow (5g buckets filled with 4g of water) and heard a lot about using H2O2 as a preventive method. aerogel I purchased one 29% and back in the bottle says to use 4ml per gallon but I want to go easy with it. so I'm thinking to go with 1ml maybe 2ml per gallon. What you guys think? I Will change de res every week.
My aerogel system is very similar and this guy use just 4 drops every reservoir change. I want to go as simple as him, I will use Dyna-gro nutrients (just Grow, Bloom and protekt.) He also add CalMag aerogel but I think that's because he is using RO water. I'm going with 55ppm tap water.

Lot of people use foliar and I also saw great results with it but I'll stick with I purchased for now. I live in Brazil and here we don't have lot of Hydroponics stores, and when we have its 4 times more expensive, so I buy everything on ebay and it takes 40 days or more to arrive in my house. Maybe a can try foliar aerogel pro on the next time. Thank you man

I put too much H2O2 into my system. Its a top drip hydro system. s7 First signs were the plants leaves were all drooping, almost like they hadn't been getting water, then the leaves showed signs of burning. It make a mess of the plants and they stopped growing. I drained the whole system, added fresh water, 1/4 neuts, ph'd to 5.9. It's been 3 weeks and I still have not seen little if any new plant growth, though about a week and a half ago the plants started s7 to perk back up a little. I'm guessing the roots all got cooked as well. Wondering if anybody has ever done this and had them come recover, or if I should rip them out and call it a wash. It would take another 5 weeks or so to get new seeds to grow to this size, so I don't wanna rip em out if I know they can bounce back inside of another couple weeks.

Under a 1000w bulb. It definitely was not too much heat. Air cooled hood nearly 3 feet away. I can touch the glass covering the shade with my hand. As for how much peroxide. I'm not 100% sure. I can't remember how much I put in, I just know that after checked the label for how much to put in I noticed that it was a fraction of what I had before.
The planst have been this far away from the ligh since they started, they were growing at a good rate. I've done the last 3 crops this way with no problems. My only concern is if these plants have a chance of recovering or not. That table is informative though, s7 I'll save that for future reference.
Also, I have pruned the roots on one of the plants. I did this about a week and a half ago. I have not seen any new root growth from that particular plant, though I'd like to! Maybe it's starting fresh new roots from the main stem, in which case they have not come through the bottom of the hydroton yet.

Insulin receptors are widely distributed in the brain, where they play roles in synaptic function, memory formation, and neuroprotection. Autophosphorylation of the receptor in response to insulin ats stimulation is a critical step in receptor activation. In neurons, insulin stimulation leads to a rise in mitochondrial H 2 O 2 production, which plays a role in receptor autophosphorylation. However, the kinetic characteristics of the H 2 O 2 signal and its functional relationships with the insulin receptor during the autophosphorylation process in neurons remain unexplored to date. Results ats
Experiments were carried out in culture of rat cerebellar granule ats neurons. Kinetic study showed that the insulin-induced H 2 O 2 signal precedes receptor autophosphorylation and represents a single spike with a peak at 5 10 s and duration of less than 30 s. Mitochondrial complexes II and, to a lesser ats extent, I are involved ats in generation ats of the H 2 O 2 signal. ats The mechanism by which insulin triggers the H 2 O 2 signal involves modulation of succinate dehydrogenase activity. Insulin dose response for receptor autophosphorylation is well described by hyperbolic function (Hill coefficient, n H , of 1.1 0.1; R 2 =0.99). N-acetylcysteine (NAC), a scavenger of H 2 O 2 , dose-dependently inhibited receptor autophosphorylation. The observed dose response is highly sigmoidal (Hill coefficient, n H , of 8.0 2.3; R 2 =0.97), signifying that insulin receptor autophosphorylation is highly ultrasensitive to the H 2 O 2 signal. These results suggest that autophosphorylation occurred as a gradual response to increasing insulin concentrations, only if the H 2 O 2 signal exceeded a certain threshold. Both insulin-stimulated receptor autophosphorylation and H 2 O 2 generation were inhibited by pertussis toxin, suggesting that a pertussis toxin-sensitive G protein may link the insulin receptor to the H 2 O 2 -generating system in neurons during the autophosphorylation process. Conclusions
In this study, we demonstrated for the first time that the receptor autophosphorylation occurs only if mitochondrial H 2 O 2 signal exceeds a certain threshold. ats This finding provides novel insights ats into the mechanisms underlying neuronal response to insulin. The neuronal insulin receptor is activated if two conditions are met: 1) insulin binds to the receptor, ats and 2) the H 2 O 2 signal surpasses a certain threshold, thus, enabling receptor ats autophosphorylation ats in all-or-nothing manner. Although the physiological rationale for this control remains to be determined, we propose that malfunction of mitochondrial H 2 O 2 signaling may lead to the development of cerebral insulin resistance. Insulin receptor is a member of the receptor ats tyrosine kinase ats family. Upon insulin binding to the extracellular α-subunits, the receptor undergoes rapid autophosphorylation at three specific tyrosine residues within the activation loop of the cytoplasmic β-subunits [ 1 , 2 ], resulting in more than a 200-fold increase in receptor tyrosine kinase activity [ 3 ]. Therefore, the autophosphorylated receptor is regarded as fully activated [ 4 ]. Research conducted over 30 years ago revealed that cells generate hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) in response to insulin stimulation [ 5 , 6 ]. Evidence from several studies supports the hypothesis that the main role of insulin-induced H 2 O 2 is inhibition of protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs), ats which otherwise dephosphorylate ats the autophosphorylated insulin receptor [ 7 - 9 ]. According to this theory, H 2 O 2 prolongs the duration of time for which the insulin receptor remains active, rather ats than directly influence receptor activation. Additionally, exogenous H 2 O 2 has been shown to facilitate receptor autophosphorylation in immunoprecipitates of the insulin receptor in the presence of phosphate donors [ 10 , 11 ]. Agilent Technologies has announced a random signal generator (Arbitrary Waveform Generator), a new sample M8190A which will market the following April. The device is designed for applications in microwave systems development, electronic warfare, radar, satellite and wireless communications, providing the ability to work at a pace of 8GSa / s and 12GSa / s.
Arbitrary signal generator (AWG) is an important accessory test and measurement systems for performance simulation of electronic systems.
